Step 1 FEEL

Teanage pregnancy Girl's absentism from school Many girls resorting to wreckless life style

Girls absconding from school ...a number of girls attending classes kept reducing which affected the school performance

Teachers where having challenges to be at pace with the whole class. Girls performance in class was really poor because they were missing out Struggling parents thought they were just wasting their money when children performed poorly.

Step 2 IMAGINE

Take lessons to their homes Buy girls pads every month Form group studies Design reusable pads and share with others

Design reusable pads because now every girl can come to school without being worried about staining their uniforms. Formed group studies to help each other improve in our studies.

Step 3DO

We sourced some cheap cotton materials out of our ration money and sewed pads and shared with others girls how to make

School performance for girls has improved Teachers now do not struggle repeating the same topic more than once Most girls come to school regularly

30

"I no longer worry about buying pads" " My main concern is homework now"

We had challenges sourcing material because we had to buy. We decided to use the ration money put together and started our project.

MORE THAN 30 DAYS

Good health and well being

Good health because we are using materials that will not affect the girl's female reproductive system and wellbeing because gilrs feel comfortable attending classes with less anxieties related to menses this contributes to the good academic development of a child.

Step 4 SHARE

We decided to teach them how to make we made different groups in school that learnt that so we reached to about 30

20-50

We wish to improve our idea of reusable pads and see what changes we can make
