Collect plastic bottles to upcycle it into a product from locally available materials and machines.

What was the result or impact of your project?

The project was a success as the youth (DFC members) learnt entrepreneurship skills and hand on experience to learn. The DFC members distributed Plastic Brooms in schools and community.

What challenges did you encounter while implementing your project, and how did you overcome them?

We had a challenge in completing and making plastic broom since we didn't had any machine to make. However, after watching YouTube and reading papers we were able to make our own machines to convert plastic bottles into plastic broom

Presentation was done by the DFC members at schools and community about the single-used plastic and its impact. Shared the story through YouTube and other social media platform. In addition, the members delivered speech and poster was pasted.
