I have chosen Rain Forest .80% of the oxygen comes from Rain forest Rainforests are often called the lungs of the planet for their role in absorbing carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, and increasing local humidity. Rainforests also stabilize climate, house incredible amounts of plants and wildlife, and produce nourishing rainfall all around the planet

The wood is one of the most important components of a pencil. Over 8 million trees are cut per year to produce just pencils. The production of wooden pencils takes a toll on the world’s rainforests, with 82,000 trees cut down each year to make 2 billion traditional wooden pencils, as each tree yields about 170,000 pencils

So I came up with an unique idea to save the trees. 1.We can use used pista shell or walnut shell powder to make pencils. 2.Pista shell powder/ walnut shell powder is an alternative to wood 3.Pista shells/walnut shells are biodegradable and it takes approximately 3 years to degrade. 4.World wide tons of pista shells/ walnut shells are discarded. 5.So, by turning this powder into alternative for wood and using it for making pencils would make a big impact on how we can do our small bit in saving the rainforest. 6.Thus we can save millions of trees being cut for making pencils. 7.We children can save the rainforest in our small way by using these unique pencils made by pista shell / walnut shell powder.
