List the challenges or problems in your surroundings (school,neighbourhood etc.) that bothered you.

->In my school, girls were finding difficulties in searching of sanitary pads among friends and teachers. ->In a bid to overcome the taboo on the issue of menstrual hygiene among school students.

State the problem chosen to work and why.

Irregular periods can lead to a lack of concentration at school, stemming from this general discomfort and constant fear of period leakage. This discomfort can also lead to an inherent desire to stay home from school, leading to high levels of absenteeism of girls. To overcome this problem we decided to install sanitary pad dispensing machines, along with incinerators. Under this project, the sanitary pads are provided free of cost to girls coming to school.

Who were the people affected by the problem? What were their primary concerns?

Girls, teacher and women's working at school were affected by the above problem. They need sanitary pads during their irregular menstructural periods.

-> Having a pack of sanitary pads with class teachers and in staff rooms. -> Pads in girls restroom. -> To install sanitary pad Dispenser.

Which solution from those listed above did you choose to implement and why?

-> We choose to implement the Sanitary Pad Dispenser in girls rest room. -> Studies have shown that girls who have access to menstrual products in school are more likely to attend class regularly -> To ensure hassle-free access to sanitary napkins for all students. -> The primary aim is to provide hygiene-related basic facilities to girls.

Describe very briefly the process of implementing your solution(s).

Many girls and women get cramps, low back pain, fatigue, or discomfort with their periods. But some have pain so bad they miss days of work or school every month. To overcome the issue we made a sanitary pad dispenser.

What was the result or impact of your project?

The school friendly dispenser machine provides students with immediate access to sanitary napkins by pressing the relax button during menstrual emergencies. All students were happy by using this machine. We plan to share this machine to the nearest government schools. This machine can be easily installed at home, office spaces, railway stations, theaters, airports, universities for improving safe sanitation measures. Children will come to know the importance of Sustainable Developmental Goal N0 6 CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION.

-> Making menstruation a normal fact of life by 2030. -> Empower a girl's life by providing sanitary dispenser to them.

What challenges did you encounter while implementing your project, and how did you overcome them?

Mood changes, teariness and easily losing your temper can sometimes be an indicator are some of the challenges we encountered. The following methods are done to overcome the problem faced by girls Practice yoga. Maintain a healthy weight. Exercise regularly. Spice things up with ginger.

How did you share your project with your school and community? Who did you share your project with? What was their response?

Now our school is feeling happy by using this Dispenser. We shared this project with parents and teachers. They all welcomed this device to implement. Finally, We plan to share this machine to the nearest government schools.
