Step 1 FEEL

A lot of students forget to drink enough water during school, which makes them feel tired, unfocused, and sometimes get headaches.

We chose to help students track their daily water intake because staying hydrated improves alertness, focus, and overall health.

Middle school students were affected. Their main concerns were low energy, difficulty concentrating in class, and forgetfulness in drinking water.

Step 2 IMAGINE

Middle school students were affected. Their main concerns were low energy, difficulty concentrating in class, and forgetfulness in drinking water.

We chose to implement a digital water-tracking app, HydraTrack, because it is easy to use, allows fast logging of drinks, sends smart reminders, and shows statistics that motivate students to drink more water.

Step 3DO

1. Introduced HydraTrack to participating students. 2. Explained how to log drinks and use the app features. 3. Students used the app on their own for several days. 4. Collected feedback using a Google Form. 5. Reviewed feedback and made improvements to the app.

HydraTrack helped students increase their daily water intake. Most students reported feeling more awake, focused, and able to concentrate better during class.

300

• “The reminders helped me remember to drink water, even on busy days.” • “Seeing my daily progress made me want to drink more water.”

Some students forgot to log drinks at first We added faster logging and smart notifications.

Good health and well being

Our project aligns with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being because it promotes healthy hydration habits, which improve energy, focus, and overall wellness for students.

Step 4 SHARE

We presented HydraTrack to our school community, including classmates and teachers, through a live demonstration. Students were encouraged to try the app, and they responded positively, saying it helped them drink more water.

More than 100
